Little Blue Marble, Big Green Sofa… Where’s Kevin Bacon?

It’s a small world. A few days ago a woman in Frankfurt, Germany decided to sit down on a super-sized sofa made of grass. Someone took her picture and posted it somewhere in the digital universe. An editor from USA Today in Virginia liked the photo and posted it. Then an American businessman from Colorado discovered the photo and sent it to his Austrian and German colleagues at Papernomad.

There have been some recent articles about Facebook’s treasure trove of social data. Seeing what nearly one billion people like is astounding. It’s also been discovered that every human on our planet is connected through less than six degrees of separation. So the woman on the big green sofa is perhaps only 3 or 4 friends away from Kevin Bacon joining her for some contemplation about Earth’s future.

If you know who this woman is, please contact us. We’ll send you, the woman and Kevin Bacon a free Papernomad for your iPad. Here’s to big green sofas on little blue marbles!
